About Me
I chose to become a nurse practitioner because of the potential impact I can make in my community. As a lifelong Adams County resident, I am honored to be able to serve and give back to the community I grew up in. Understanding not only the disease process but being able to connect to each of my patients is what allows me to create an individualized treatment plan. I love to hear where my patients come from, their careers, interests, and hobbies. Knowing these things help me to understand who they are and what they value in life.
Gastrointestinal symptoms may be a difficult subject for many to discuss openly. It may even take years of suffering before many come to seek help. I understand the sensitivity of the topic to some and want my patients to know I am an open ear and take their symptoms very seriously while strictly adhering to their privacy and confidentiality. I also want my patients to know that if one treatment plan does not work for them, we will work together to find an additional treatment plan and I will always have their best interest in mind.
