About Us
The Blessing Volunteers in Partnership (BVIP) is the merger of the former Women’s Board and Auxiliary groups. In addition to maintaining and operating the Blessing Tea Room, the BVIP raises money for special projects and equipment purchases. The group also coordinates other projects such as the monthly gallery displays from local artists, 24-hour fresh flower service, and special patient service programs such as knitting caps for newborns, providing turbans to chemotherapy patients and sewing “Buddy Bears” for children receiving care in the Emergency Center.
Volunteer opportunities are also available at Illini Community Hospital in select departments, along with Chaplaincy services provided by the Pike County Ministerial Alliance.
