11:00 AM Update:

The lockdown of Blessing Hospital’s 11th Street campus and the Blessing Health Center has been lifted.

The threat has been resolved and those entering the buildings will no longer be screened.

10:40 AM Update:

We are continuing with the lockdown until further notice.

Staff, patients and visitors are permitted to move throughout the Hospital campus as necessary. Everyone is allowed to leave the building, but we are checking for anyone entering or re-entering the building. Thank you for your cooperation.

9:28 AM Update:

The Blessing Hospital Campus at 11th Street is currently on lockdown as a proactive approach in order to keep our patients, staff, volunteers and visitors safe after receipt of an external threat to a person at the 11th Street facility.

Services are still in operation and it’s safe to access our facilities, but anyone entering the building will be screened.

The Quincy Police Department is involved and actively looking for the person involved.

Updates will be provided when there is additional information to share.
