Lindsay Vose, ultrasonographer, Non-Invasive Cardiology, received the hospital’s 37th Honey Bee award during a presentation on November 30, 2021.
The Blessing Hospital Honey Bee award recognizes the service provided by support staff.
The mother of a patient submitted the following nomination regarding the care Lindsay provided to her one-year-daughter during an echocardiogram:
“Lindsay was so patient, kind, and personable with us, reassuring me that my daughter was actually doing well with the test - even if she was being a wild-almost-one-year-old.”
“Lindsay made the entire process less intimidating and stressful from the beginning when she introduced herself, making play out of the test, to the very end when my daughter wanted to hold her hand to show off her new walking skills, and she followed-up promptly with questions I had for a visit with the doctor the next week.”
“Thank you, Lindsay, for not only doing your job, but doing it with kindness, patience, and making our appointment go so smooth.”
Honey Bee award nomination forms are located on all nursing units and other locations throughout Blessing Hospital.
