Todd Haverstock, Administrative Coordinator, Information Security, Blessing Health System, has earned the status of Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) from the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants. The certification focuses on the business elements of an information security program to help businesses make better informed decisions around cyber security.
Certification requirements include more than five years’ experience in governance, information systems management controls and auditing management, management of projects and operations, information security core competencies and strategic planning and finance; completion of 40 hours of continuing education in information security annually and passage of a written certification exam.
The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants, known as the EC-Council, is a worldwide cyber security technical certification body. It operates in 145 countries and has trained and certified over 200,000 information security professionals.
Haverstock also holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) status from ISC2, an international, nonprofit membership association for information security leaders.
