About Me

"Engage the individual, provider and community to educate and empower them on their health and wellness journey to live a healthier life."

I earned my M.S.Ed. in Counseling from Quincy University in 2017. During graduate training, I worked with adolescents using Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I started my career working in psychiatric inpatient units with adults and youth struggling with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. My approach to therapy is informed by evidence-based treatment and emphasizes a joint therapeutic relationship. I enjoy utilizing mindfulness as a way to help patients decrease stress and anxiety, improve memory and focus, decrease pain, and improve overall health.  Outside of work, I enjoy family time, reading, meditation, and fishing.
