Logan Douglas, Support Center Analyst 1, Information Systems, became Blessing Hospital’s 48th Honey Bee award winner during a presentation on September 28. The Blessing Hospital Honey Bee award recognizes the service provided by support staff.

A Discharge Call Center team member who works from home nominated Logan for his help with her headset issues.  The nomination read in part:

“He suggested moving me from a wireless headset to a wired headset to see if that would help with the phone issues I am experiencing while calling our patients.

When Logan asked when I could pick this up, I shared with him that I could come tomorrow before I started work, as I had immediate plans following work this evening.

Logan went above and beyond by personally offering to drop this headset by my home – which he did!

As a discharge caller, it is so important that my headset doesn’t drop calls or cut out during my patient follow-up; a couple things that I have been experiencing, and I feel he really understands what a barrier this has been for me. My sincere appreciation to Logan Douglas.”

Honey Bee award nomination forms are located on all nursing units and other locations throughout Blessing Hospital.
