About Me

Angie Davis is passionate about patient education. During her 23 years of nursing experience, she has developed her patient advocacy skills and seen first-hand the importance of education and communication between provider and patient.

“In my previous roles I have encountered patients who appeared to be noncompliant, when what they needed was more education and someone to take the time to understand why they were not following their post visit instructions,” she said. “You need to help the patient understand why they need to follow their providers instructions and how it benefits their health.”

Angie says education and communication are an integral part of patient care and will continue to be the foundation of her current work as a nurse practitioner in Blessing Health's Department of Surgery.

“I want to make sure my patients have all the Information they need to make an informed decision about their care.”

When this Quincy native is not educating her patients, she enjoys traveling, painting and reading.

“My most memorable trip with my husband and two daughters happened In 2020 when we tent camped In Yellowstone and the giant Redwoods of California.”
