About Me

Suzanne is a Pittsfield, Illinois, native who was born into a medical family. Her grandfather was the first surgeon at Illini Community Hospital. And it was her grandmother, a nurse, whom she credits with inspiring her interest in medicine.

“She helped raise me and guide me. I knew things about medicine and science because she was always teaching me things.”

Following in her grandmother’s footsteps, Suzanne is dedicated to teaching her patients.

“Chronic diseases can be avoided, or at least managed, if a patient receives preventative care and education on what causes the diseases.”

Suzanne has led a life of service. She was a combat medic in the United States Army for 17 years before commissioning. Today she is active in the community in a number of ways.

“I am really down-to-earth. I enjoy developing a one-on-one relationship with patients, and take my time with them. I am excited to be working in Pittsfield, where I grew up and helping the people that have helped me through the years.”
