About Me

A native of Chicago, Dr. Kiely followed in the “footsteps” of his father, a podiatrist.

“When I was young and off of school, I would go with him to the office. That continued as I grew up and I witnessed his interactions with patients, the way he helped people.”

Dr. Kiely’s father encouraged him to explore other career paths.  And he did, but kept coming back to medicine – and podiatry in particular.

“There are many ways to help people, but this seemed to be a profound way to be able to do it -  something I felt was meaningful.”

Dr. Kiely strives to help patients discover how the science of medicine can impact their lives.
“Anyone could read a book and know what a medical treatment should be and follow it. But each patient needs to reach their own goals. It’s important to help people know what the textbook and current research says, and then help them make sense of that and how it impacts their lives.”
“I want my patients to feel heard and that I am addressing what concerns them most about their health.”

When not in the exam room or operating room, Dr. Kiely found a love of travel when he met his wife.  They recently visited the country of his ancestors, Japan.

“It was an amazing experience.”
