"I was initially drawn to healthcare in my high school years through a Health Occupations class. It didn’t take long for me to realize that nursing was my passion, and was the right path for me. I enjoy working with patients and providing support to patients, families, and caregivers throughout a variety of difficult diagnoses.

My patients inspire me to do a great job every day. Just making a difference in someone’s life is very fulfilling to me. I provide care to my patients from the heart, and I enjoy connecting and developing a trust with them. Being nurse has connected me with some pretty special individuals; that I may not have known if I weren’t a nurse.

I initially began my career at Blessing on the oncology unit and worked in that role for approximately 8 years. I then transitioned into the float pool and worked on various floors throughout the hospital and then worked in the Wound Center prior to joining the Medical Oncology/Hematology department of the Blessing Cancer Center. I have worked at Blessing a little over 15 years, and plan to continue for many more years."
