About Me
A career in medicine allows me to interact with people on a daily basis and develop long-term relationships with patients. I now have patients who I helped to deliver that are grown up and bringing their children to me. These long-term relationships are what I enjoy the most about coming to work everyday. I try to connect with people and give them as much information as I can to help them with their healthcare and life decisions. I have a tendency to not only look at people as patients, but also as friends.
As a professor with the SIU School of Medicine, I have written and published numerous articles and have conducted lectures and workshops both throughout Illinois and nationally. I enjoy these opportunities to train future physicians and medical professionals.
