About Me

I chose to become a Family Nurse Practitioner because I love to help people and want to help patients not only receive the best care, but also the most appropriate care. I enjoy working in my specialty because I am able to provide quality care across the entire spectrum of the population.

The most rewarding aspect of caring for people is being able to make a positive difference in their lives. Although we do not typically see patients for follow-up appointments in immediate care locations, we do follow-up with patients through phone calls which is a nice way to hear the status of their condition or direct them for further care.

Providing exceptional care and maintaining good relationships is very important to me as a provider. I do this by actively listening to their story and encouraging them to be part of the decision making about their care. Another very important aspect of providing outstanding care is education. I strive to provide my patients with remarkable education which assists in improving their health and being knowledgeable of additional care options.
