Medical Institutions wanting to Export Images to PACS or Burn images to a CD:

We recommend you contact your IT specialist (or PACS Administrator) for assistance.

Option 1 (Downloading Dicom Files)

  • Once the image is launched, you will see this icon in the bottom toolbar DCM icon, select icon.
  • Dicom Files will be created, click to download the Dicom Files as a Zip folder.
  • Save file to Local drive or another drive.
  • Go to the drive where you saved Dicom Files, Right click on the Zip folder and extract all.
  • Now the images are ready to be imported into a PACS

Option 2 (Dicom Push)

  • Once the image is launched, you will see this icon in the bottom toolbar File push icon, select icon.
  • Fill in information and send to PACS.

Option 3 (Burn a CD)

  • Once the image is launched, you will see this icon in the bottom toolbar Write cd icon, select icon
  • The Make Media program will launch.
  • Select the study or studies that you want and then Build.
  • Select your Export Option (Select Dicom for Importing into PACS).
  • You will then be prompted to Burn the CD.
