About Me

“I’ve always started my day knowing I can change at least one person’s life for the better. Everyone on this planet deserves to feel supported and not alone.”

Chelsea experienced people’s need for support as well as medical care first-hand earlier in her nursing career.  She was part of the care team for a patient who was hospitalized for months with a condition that kept them confined to their room. Each day she was on duty, Chelsea and the patient would do a crossword puzzle together.

“It opened my eyes to see that, even though we have daily tasks to accomplish as nurses, you’d be surprised how much stress you can relieve for a patient by just letting them know you are there for them.”

As the clinical nurse specialist on Blessing’s palliative care team, Chelsea helps people who suffer from chronic illnesses by managing their symptoms with goals to improve their quality of life.

“I’m very passionate in everything I do. As I hold several roles in life, including being a mother of 4 boys, being an advocate for my patients is an opportunity for which I am grateful to hold and fulfill.”
