About Me

"Engage the individual, provider and community to educate and empower them on their health and wellness journey to live a healthier life."

My passion is to educate. I love to see patients gain knowledge about their mental illness. They can finally have answers for why they think and feel the way they do. Most go through life thinking something is really wrong with them. But, it’s a mental health disorder that doesn’t define them _ similar to diabetes or heart disease. We instill hope and show our patients there is an alternative way to think and feel that can be productive.

I chose this career in the field of psychiatry, because I am interested in helping others address mental health issues, illness, and other challenges. Counseling can be an exciting career path, especially working with chronically mentally ill patients. The collaborative relationship is rewarding to help them identify goals and potential solutions.
My laid-back, open minded personality creates a safe place for my patients to gain insight free from judgement and laugh in the process.

I love what I do!
