About Me
I believe that our experiences shape our lives. I grew up in a blue collar neighborhood just north of Detroit, Michigan. From my youngest years, I wanted to escape my neighborhood, and used that motivation to continually strive for better. By acts of fate and opportunity, I eventually found myself as a physician and surgeon practicing Urology. I use my life experiences in my daily interactions with my patients.
I now wake up each morning and realize that I am privileged to care for other human beings. There can be no better job in the world than what I get to do each day. And it truly is a privilege. I go into each day and each encounter remembering that what I do is sacred, and that all I want is for my patients to be happy and healthy. I try to keep my encounters light hearted and friendly, and try to show my patients how much I truly care about their well being. I love when my patients come to the office and feel like they can see me as an equal partner in their health.
