About Me
I don’t remember a time when I wanted to do anything other than be a doctor. More than the love for science, I enjoy getting to know people and forming relationships with them. When I meet new patients, I get to know them first personally and then ask what can I help them with today. In many cases, patients know what’s wrong. As a physician, I spend the time to ask questions and listen.
Genuine communication is the best way to build close relationships with patients and work with them to address medical concerns. Combining empathy, compassion and concern for each person with a desire to do what is best clinically is a reward both personally and professionally.
I take a conservative, careful approach to medicine and take personal responsibility for patient outcomes. This aspect of medicine is even more important now that I am back in Quincy building a practice in my hometown. Being raised here, I have many close ties to the community and the people here mean a lot to me.
