About Me

No matter where life took him, John Sanchez never lost sight of his passion.

“I always wanted to do something related to healthcare,” he said. “I felt that being able to take part in helping another person would gratify me.”

During high school, John loaded his schedule with science-related classes to be ready for the future. However, upon graduation, life took John in a number of different – but successful – directions.

Then one day the company for which John was working closed, leading him to think, ‘What better time to jump into nursing school?” That’s exactly what he did, coming to Blessing to practice his passion, behavioral health nursing.

“Now more than ever, behavioral health is relevant,” John observed. “I provide patients with a non-judgmental, safe environment for them to open up about their concerns. If the patient is involved in their treatment plan, it optimizes their outcomes and the quality of life.”

When not helping people improve their behavioral health and quality of life, you’ll find John with his young daughter and wife, who also happens to be a behavioral health nurse.
