About Me

My decision to choose a career in medicine was driven largely by my core value of helping others and have found that I am happiest when caring for my patients. After working for several years as a nurse, I knew I wanted to expand my knowledge and clinical expertise and enthusiastically embarked on my journey to become a Nurse Practitioner.

I believe that it is a great privilege to care for patients when they are at their most vulnerable. The relief of pain and suffering caused by illness and taking action to restore health are extremely rewarding aspects of practicing in critical care medicine.

As a member of the healthcare team I am privy to personal and profound parts of people’s lives and can make a positive impact through managing relationships with patients as well as their families. Building their trust through open and honest discussions and explaining disease as well as its treatment helps me create exceptional relationships with my patients and their families.
