About Me
Penny proudly calls herself a “farm girl.” She not only grew up on a farm, Penny holds a master’s of business administration and agricultural economics degrees. Before becoming a nurse 13 years ago to have more quality time with her family, she spent 20 years in ag sales, marketing and management.
Penny points out the similarities between her two career paths.
“I wanted skills that I could do with my hands, that I could take anywhere and would be able to help people. Whether it’s helping people raise healthy crops or helping people manage their health needs to live their best lives, there are many similarities between my two passions.”
In addition to learning much from her father- the farmer, Penny brings many of the attributes she learned from her mother – the teacher - to the care of her patients.
“She taught me to build trusting relationships by listening to their concerns and goals, and then partner with them to reach their best possible outcome.”
A few of her favorite things include her faith, family, friends, farm life, flowers and helping patients on their journey to health and wellness.
