About Me

Dr. Moroze is an extra-special specialist.

In addition to his skill as an orthopedic surgeon - doing total joint replacements and all the other exceptional things you would expect that help people return to their activities of daily living without pain – he is also a “revisionist.” That’s an orthopedic surgeon who is also skilled in replacing artificial joints that have failed for one reason or another.

He says the surgical process of a patient’s first hip or knee replacement is very different from the process of replacing a replacement.

“It’s complex surgery. There is no guidebook for joint revisions. You get in there and see what the situation is and figure out what needs to be done to give the person their mobility back.”

A United States Air Force veteran who graduated with honors from medical school, Dr. Moroze credits family role models – his mother the teacher, his father the software engineer and his uncle the doctor - for his skill and compassion and those of his siblings, three of whom are also doctors.

“I developed a fondness for science and helping others from my parents, and my uncle was very influential in my life. It all melded together to lead me to a career in medicine,” Dr. Moroze said.
