Services Available Include

Calcium Scoring

This type of screening helps detect blockages in the coronary arteries that can lead to heart attacks and strokes. Tests will be offered by appointment only in the Diagnostic & Imaging department.  Call 217.277.3516 to schedule your appointment.

CT

A computed tomography (CT) scan uses a computer to process and combine multiple x-rays taken from different angles and produce cross-sectional images (“slices”) of bones, blood vessels and soft tissue within the body.  A doctor’s order and scheduled appointment are required.

Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram is a specific type of ultrasound that uses sound waves to produce images of the heart, allowing providers to see the heart in action as it beats and pumps blood. This type of imaging is used to check the various valves and chambers of the heart and identify and diagnose certain heart conditions such as heart disease, endocarditis, cardiac masses, and congenital heart disease.

EKG

Electrocardiogram (EKG) is a brief and painless procedure that measures the heart’s electrical activity to evaluate cardiovascular disease. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.

In-Motion X-Ray

In-motion x-ray, also known as dynamic digital radiography, is a low dose x-ray that takes a series of images very quickly while the patient is in motion and allows physicians to see the inside of the body as it moves. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.

Laboratory

Laboratory test results are typically available to physicians within 24 hours.  However, some specialized tests and cultures must be sent out for detailed evaluation and therefore require additional time for final results.  A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses strong magnetic fields along with computer-generated radio waves to produce detailed images of organs and tissues within the body.  A doctor’s order and scheduled appointment are required.

X-Ray

Skilled technologists provide x-ray imaging on a walk-in basis.  Our facility offers high-quality imaging using digital technology. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.  Standard and in-motion are available at this location.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound produces images of inside the body using high-frequency sound waves.  A doctor’s order and scheduled appointment are required.
