Chaka Jordan, MHA, vice president, Marketing & Planning, Blessing Health System, was one of 10 professionals to receive a 2019 National Marketer of the Year award in the Midwest Class in the 2019 Hospital Marketing National Advertising Awards competition. The Top Hospital Marketers of the Year Awards recognize extraordinary hospital marketers driving innovation, spearheading great creative, and working toward better branding for their hospital, health system, or facility. Honorees were judged based on industry reputation, accomplishments, innovation, and notoriety among their peers, partners, and media.

In addition, Blessing Health System received a Silver award for best Digital/Social Media campaign in the same competition.

Blessing received three awards in the 2019 Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, including a Gold for is magazine advertisement for the Blessing Breast Center’s 3D mammography technology; a Silver for its digital marketing program for the Blessing mobile app that allows for mobile check-in at Blessing Convenient Care locations in Quincy, IL and Canton, MO; a Merit award for its direct mail campaign for smoking cessation services.

In the 2019 Aster Award competition, sponsored by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc., the Blessing mobile app campaign received a Silver award; and the smoking cessation campaign and fall/winter 2018 Personal Blessing community magazine each received Bronze awards.
