Interested members of the public are invited to gather with Blessing Health and Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network staff at a flag raising to mark Donate Life Month. The flag raising takes place at the flag pole in front of Blessing Hospital at 11:30 am, Friday, April 25.
In addition to witnessing the raising of the Donate Life flag in front of Blessing Hospital, those attending will hear from the father of an organ recipient, a Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network representative and a Blessing Hospital chaplain.
Every donor can save 8 lives and enhance over 75 more. More than 103,000 men, women and children are on the transplant waiting list nationwide.
