Jolene Beaber, registered respiratory therapist and director, Respiratory Services, Blessing Hospital, retires January 3, 2022, after 33 years of service.

Beaber began her career at the former St. Mary Hospital in Quincy from 1979-1988, at which time she joined Blessing Hospital as a Cardiopulmonary Supervisor.  She was appointed interim director of the renamed department, Respiratory Services, in 2001 and promoted to director in 2003.

A graduate of the St. Mary Hospital School for Respiratory Therapy, Beaber also holds degrees from Independence University and Ottawa University."Jolene Beaber"

She is a two-time award winner, receiving the St. Mary Hospital Employee of the Year award in 1986 and the Blessing Health System Fire Starter leadership award in 2017. Beaber is an advisory board member for the Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care program at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, a former board member of Quincy Catholic Charities and a member of St. Peter Parish in Quincy.
