Teresa Darnell, BSN, RN, Non-Invasive Cardiology department, Blessing Hospital, has earned certification as a Cardiac-Vascular Nurse (RN-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Certification requirements include a minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice in cardiac-vascular nursing within the last three years, completion of 30 hours of continuing education in cardiac-vascular nursing within the last three years and passage of an examination.

Darnell is a 29-year member of the Blessing Hospital nursing staff and worked in inpatient oncology for 25 years before joining Non-Invasive Cardiology. She is also a nationally certified in oncology nursing (OCN) and a member of the American Nurses Association.  Darnell earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Quincy College.
