Mariah Jenkins, RN, BSN, Emergency Center, Blessing Hospital, has met the requirements, passed the examination and earned national Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) status from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing.
Nurses who hold CEN status have proven their ability to assess, triage, and stabilize patients in fast-paced settings, and demonstrate high standards in clinical judgment, technical skills, and patient safety.
A graduate of Illinois State University and Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Jenkins is a 12-year member of the Blessing Health System staff. Before joining the Emergency Center team, she worked in the Patient Access and Observational Decision Unit departments.
Jenkins is a resident of Liberty, Illinois.
