Since she was a third grader in a one-room school house, Janet Hilgenbrinck loved to paint.  Over the years, she gave many of her paintings as gifts to family and community members for ‘life’ celebrations.

At 85-years-old, Janet made the decision to live out the end of her life on her own terms with the help of Blessing Hospice and Palliative Care. She also shared a dream with her family, a dream of showing her paintings in a “big city” art show.

It is with great pride that Blessing Hospice and Palliative Care, in cooperation with the Blessing Foundation and the Hilgenbrinck family, present the following video display of Janet’s art – a celebration of her life and a gift to everyone who watches.
