National Patient Recognition Week, Feb. 1-7:

If you come into the Diagnostic Center at the Blessing Health Center 927 Broadway in Quincy first thing in the morning, the first face you are likely to see is that of Sadie Rhoades, diagnostic tech, at the welcome desk.  Sadie is pure energy.  She is not only a morning person, she is a “patient person.”

"Rhoades"“I have a lot of patients who come in, they recognize my face, they know my name, they ask for me by name.  We have built that bond. The most important thing to me is building that rapport with patients.  They know they have a safe place and a safe person they can rely on, and know they are in excellent hands.  That makes them feel more confident. They want to be here. Rather than saying, ‘Oh, I have to go get lab work,’ it’s like, ‘I get to go see Sadie today. Yay!’”

“It makes me feel great. That’s one of the reasons I got into healthcare. I like the patient interaction.  It is what makes me want to come to work, and when I go home my heart is full.”

On behalf of all of us at Blessing Health, thank you to everyone who puts their trust in us for their healthcare. We know you have choices.  Our goal is to deliver exceptional care and service to every patient, every day, with the mission of being your Provider of Choice.
