Blessing Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program has retained national certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). AACVPR program certification is valid for three years. Blessing has held this accreditation since 2017.

Cardiovascular rehabilitation programs are designed to help people with heart and breathing problems recover faster or improve their quality of life through exercise, education, counseling, and support for themselves and their families.

Certification is recognition of a healthcare provider’s commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing standards of care developed by AACVPR and other professional societies.
