Blessing Health System (BHS) thinks every person who needs medical care should get medical care, even if they don't have the money to pay the bill.
If you get medical care at a BHS hospital, clinic or doctor's office listed on the back of the brochure, you can get a discount on your bill if you meet certain criteria:
-
You must have needed non-elective care (ie, care that was needed due to an illness or injury and was ordered by a doctor).
-
You don't have health insurance, don't have enough health insurance and cannot pay for the care you received.
-
The amount of money you make must meet rules set by the federal government.
Fill out the form inside the brochure to see if you can get help with your medical bill. Once your medical care is completed, and any insurance you have has paid its part of the bill, BHS will determine what type of discount you can get for the rest of the bill, based on how much money you make.
If you have questions about getting help from BHS to pay your medical bill (this is called Financial Assistance), please call one of the BHS Patient Financial Services Departments during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm at the number listed on the brochure.
You can get other kinds of help from the BHS Patient Financial Services Department. They can help with the billing of your insurance claim, or help confirm eligibility for Medicaid through one of the many programs being offered.
People come to BHS for great medical care. We deliver that care to everyone, no matter their religion, race or income.
