  • Tumor removal: Many brain and spine tumors are not cancerous and grow slowly. If they press on nearby brain or spine tissue, you may need surgery to remove the tumor before permanent damage occurs. Our advanced imaging systems allow us to remove these tumors while avoiding the healthy nearby tissue.

  • Spine fusion: Injuries or degenerative processes may cause your vertebrae (bones of the spine) to slip on each other. This movement can cause pinched nerves or abnormal spine motion, which can lead to pain, numbness and weakness. In some cases, we may perform surgery to relieve pressure on nerve roots and stabilize (fuse) the spine to provide relief. Our surgeon is an expert in many forms of spinal fusion, which is surgery that uses bone grafts to permanently join vertebrae.

  • Carpal tunnel relief: The nerves controlling feeling and movement in your fingers pass through a narrow opening, the carpal tunnel, in the wrist. If this tunnel becomes too narrow through injury or inflammation, it can press on the nerves and make your hand feel numb. If left untreated, carpal tunnel syndrome can cause permanent nerve damage. Our surgeon can widen the carpal tunnel and relieve pressure on the nerves.

  • Brain trauma: For people who experience a traumatic brain injury, our neurosurgeon can operate to treat the injury. We perform procedures to relieve pressure on the brain or remove blood clots that could cause permanent damage.
