Blessing Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer facility in Quincy, IL with experienced staff, the latest diagnostic technologies and advanced treatments. Advanced technologies: We have invested in the latest imaging, surgical and radiation technologies, including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radio surgery (SRS). Our robotics-aided surgical system, the da Vinci system, allows us to operate with precision to remove tumors without damaging nerves or blood vessels. Our radiation equipment for skin cancers penetrates only skin deep to remove lesions and avoid damage to tissue below. National recognition: At Blessing we work every day to bring our community the highest level of cancer care with recognition from two national organizations to our program.
- American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer has awarded us the designation of Comprehensive Community Cancer Program (CCCP). This recognition means that we meet or exceed the highest, most rigorous criteria for cancer centers in the country. The Commission on Cancer accreditation recognizes Blessing Cancer Center’s multidisciplinary approach to treating cancer as a complex group of diseases that requires consultation among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists, and other cancer specialists
- American College of Radiation Oncology, which ensures the highest standards of safety and quality are met by our radiation therapy care team here at Blessing.
Multiple treatment options: Every tumor is different and responds to different treatments. Our oncologists will discuss with you the best treatment options for your needs. We offer the full range of cancer treatments including surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
