Experience the Blessing Difference: Behavioral Center
Our team treats children, adolescents and adults, whether they need an inpatient stay or outpatient counseling. We offer:
-
Leading behavioral healthcare: Blessing has the only behavioral health inpatient program serving both children and adults within a 100-mile radius of Quincy. We cover the entire region. Learn more about our inpatient care for children and adolescents and for adults.
-
Largest group of psychiatrists for 100 miles: Our team includes 5 child/adolescent psychiatrists and 4 adult psychiatrists. We also have 4 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners on our team.
-
New care facilities: In 2015, we built 2 new behavioral health facilities – one for inpatient care and one for outpatient services. These new buildings feature next-generation amenities, security and construction standards.
-
24-hour intake: Crisis situations rarely adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for inpatient referrals and admissions. Our admissions staff is highly accessible and easy to talk to.
-
Comprehensive treatment options: From outpatient counseling and psychiatric and neuropsychological care to inpatient psychiatric care, our programs help people through a vulnerable and difficult time in their lives. We offer a range of recovery and wellness groups, as well as pet therapy, music and art interventions and regular tutoring for inpatient children.
-
Comprehensive discharge planning: We involve your primary care and other health providers in your treatment and discharge planning. Our multi-disciplinary team works with you to create a discharge plan that sets you up for success in your continued recovery. This plan includes connecting you with appropriate mental health resources.
-
Nonprofit status: Blessing Hospital is not-for-profit, so we accept patients regardless of their ability to pay. We accept Medicaid-managed care panels for Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.
-
Support groups: Blessing Hospital also sponsors and offers multiple support groups that meet regularly for behavioral health services. We encourage you to click here to browse all available support groups in our area.
