Experience The Blessing Difference: SOZO® & L-Dex® technology
SOZO® uses non-invasive technology from ImpediMed to measure and track your fluid buildup in your at-risk limb. SOZO® is capable of detecting excess fluid at the subclinical level, where lymphedema is still reversible.
- Non-Invasive: Step-on, step off. Patients stand on SOZO® with bare hands and feet and will not feel the test.
- Fast: Results in less than 30 seconds. Results are available immediately on the device and online
- Easy to Use: The on-screen guide walks clinicians through the steps to complete a test
Results from initial trials show this early detection combined with at-home intervention using standard compression therapy can reduce the progression of lymphedema by 95%.
How does L-Dex® work?
SOZO® uses L-Dex® technology, which sends a low-level electrical signal through the body. This can deliver a precise snapshot of fluid status and tissue composition in less than 30 seconds. SOZO® with L-Dex® can help detect lymphedema at its earliest, subclinical stage, sooner and provides fluid status for patients living with heart failure.
As lymphedema develops, the amount of fluid will increase, making it easier for the signal to travel though the extracellular fluid of the body.
Measuring the body’s resistance and reactance in response to this electrical current provides easy access to detailed information regarding fluid and tissue status without the need for an invasive procedure.
