    • Mornings: Every Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  • Online: We also offer a Facebook group for local moms who breastfeed. Search for "Breastfeeding: Quincy IL Regional Support Group" to request membership.

1-on-1 Breastfeeding Guidance

Blessing’s full-time lactation consultant offers 1-on-1 guidance to help new moms in their breastfeeding efforts. We offer customized breastfeeding support:

  • At the hospital: After baby arrives, our lactation consultant checks on new moms every day. By answering questions or helping position your baby, she spends as much time as you need to help you reach your individual breastfeeding goals.

  • After discharge: For moms who seek a more personal approach to breastfeeding support after leaving the hospital, our lactation consultant meets individually with new moms. Call to make an appointment or just walk in, and our maternity care team will do everything we can to support you in your breastfeeding efforts.
